The latest CNN Democrat debate which occurred Nov. 14th on of course, CNN is getting blamed for "planting questions" in the audience - which leads me to believe two things:

1. CNN is a hypocrites dream
2. The Democrat debates are nothing more than bad dinner theater

I call CNN hypocritical since they jumped all over the planted question Hillary's handlers put out to another young woman at a supposed "Town Hall Meeting", called "Plant-Gate" by the Republicans. Yet, CNN now scripts and plants questions for their own viewers and basically does the same thing they reported Hillary doing. I guess CNN followed the Huffington Post citing "Plant-Gate" as a great idea. Everyday people are apparently way to stupid and lazy to understand actual questions and answers - the Democrat leadership must now hire the striking Hollywood writers on scab wages to script the media debates. The idea that spontaneous interaction of approval or disapproval from the audience and real actual questions thought up by and asked by real people at a political debate now seems preposterous. Maria Luisa, a UNLV student who asked Hillary Clinton the now famous "Do you prefer diamonds or pearls" fluff question of the political century had this to say on her Myspace page after receiving tons of email criticizing her question:

"CNN ran out of time and used me to "close" the debate with the pearls/diamonds question. Seconds later this girl comes up to me and says, "you gave our school a bad reputation.' Well, I had to explain to her that every question from the audience was preplanned and censored. That's what the media does. See, the media chose what they wanted, not what the people or audience really wanted. That's politics; that's reality. So, if you want to read about real issues important to America--and the whole world, I suggest you pick up a copy of the Economist or the New York Times or some other independent source. If you want me to explain to you how the media works, I am more than happy to do so. But do not judge me or my integrity based on that question."

"...every question from the audience was preplanned and censored."

So what is one to believe... that these debates are actual answers to actual questions that citizens who will be voting in approximately 1 year, believe are important to them? Hell no. This is dinner theater and bad dinner theater at that ... first there's no dinner. Strike one. The dinner theater that I'm familiar with, like a good "murder mystery" dinner theater does not inform the public what they are going to do via a script... that's what makes it a little edgy and fun... the audience member who gets pulled into the murder mystery has no idea what will happen. In the Democrat debate theater, apparently everyone had the script prior to taping. Strike two. Then what seems to have occurred, according to this UNLV student, not only was the audience informed and provided a script, they were also provided questions to ask the "debaters", and asked to make it seem like they are actually asking it for their own personal interest... Strike three. This isn't even "Survivor" type scripted... this is "Seinfeld" scripted but with no punch lines and very bad comedic timing.

So can we expect that all these supposed debates are scripted by the media, controlled by the media, and supported by the media? According to the Republicans - yes. John Gibson, Fox journalist and talking head accused Wolfie Blitzer of having to follow the Clinton script found on Media Matters' website about what to ask and what not to ask. Media Matters is, according to Hillary, her baby and was started by her and is funded by George Soros - billionaire socialist/communist who's prime wants are a changed U.S., repeal of the constitution, socialist/communist America.

George, George, George... money can't buy you love...

It seems like the softballs were flying at the CNN democrat debate and it certainly appears as though Wolfie decided not to get on the bad side of the Clinton's and the body bags that have plagued those who have crossed the Clinton's. Conspiracy... probably. Yet, there's a lot of circumstantial evidence which leads one to believe there's at least some smoke if not absolute fire there. The Clinton's have been in bed with very bad people for many decades and have mastered the art of the non-stick scandal. If the Bush/Rove group is getting away with not being impeached, the Clinton's have gotten away with multiple charges of serial murders in comparison.

So what's a moderate to do when watching "Debate theater"? View it like an episode of "House" or a geriatric "Grey's Anatomy" and realize that it's all a put up job. It's not real. Even if the questions were real, the audience wasn't scripted, the moderators weren't controlled, the answers from politicians certainly would be contrived bullshit 99% of the time. They'll say pretty much anything (in most any language ie. Dodd) to get a vote. Shake hands, kiss babies, knife their own grandmother - whatever. I personally got turned off from the YouTube debate with the hand-puppet and snowman questions... since then, it's all been a cartoon to me. The last thing I want is some hand puppet asking some fluff question and the left-loon pundits orgasming all over themselves for the next two weeks about how "progressive" they are. Gimme a break. The hand puppet isn't paying a pension, isn't fixing the tax code, isn't helping in Iraq... but it sure is a metaphor for politics isn't it? A made up puppet with controlled by someone's hand up it's ass - if that's not a metaphor for politics and the Democrat debates I don't know what is.

Ed. note:

(Yes, I use the word "Democrat" instead of "Democratic" in this piece - the reason is, those who call themselves DEMOCRATS and are running for the Presidency in 2008 are not "Democratic" or "Democrats" by any means, so I feel it's misguiding readers who may stumble upon this blog and actually read it - all 2 of them in the next decade - and I'd hate to have mislead two people out of 300 million by calling a democrat debate democratic.)

A Rose by any other name...

[Tags: Democrats, neocon, linguistics, liberals, Iraq,
partisan]

As complex and intricate as the English language is, as time passes, it always becomes more so. I am in no stretch of the imagination, a linguist or even a wannabe. I use words to try and express in a hopefully calm and logical way, my thoughts such as the wanted meaning is conveyed successfully. That is to say, I say what I mean and mean what I say so ya'll can understand.. dig? Yet, as time goes by, language changes as do the meanings of words. What was once used in the past to convey an emotion or illicit an emotion is discarded over time such that either it is not used at all, or if the word is used, it's meaning has sometimes drastically changed. For example, the word “swell” in the past (read: 1920's – 1950's) was used to convey the meaning “Great!”. We have since stopped using that word as it has fallen out of favor by the popular culture through the 1960's and to today, and have adopted other words – more words, that convey and illicit the same feeling, without the word “swell” being used. “Awesome” and “Excellent” are two of the most common of my generation.

That brings us back to the politics of the world. Politics has an effect on our language as well. Little known words such as “jingoism”, first coined in 1878 (according to Websters Dictionary) was vastly lost to time until drudged up post in the 21st century post 9/11, and used by the Democratic party as an epithet hurled at those “flag waving” American's who some feel to have too much pride in their country called the United States of America. One can only hope “swell” makes a comeback real real soon.

In fact, the Democratic Party has been very creative in their use of language as I have pointed out in the past few years on this very blog. Intensive use of idiosyncratic words, coupled with adjectives and adverbs meant to degrade, flame and otherwise insult the government, the military, those unfortunate “jingoists”, and anyone else who dared stand opposed to these “New Liberals” way of thinking were fodder for the linguistic grinder of “The Daily Kos”, “Smirking Chimp” as well as the pseudo-pundits calling themselves “political comedians” on television and cable shows nation wide. This isn't to be confused with "neoliberalism" which is very very different (and deserves a post all by itself). Democrats have found that the written word when used as a weapon, and when honed either by adding not-so-well-known adjectives and descriptions as well as long-dead words that have fallen out of favor with the population cause people to “sit up and take notice”. This notice may be in violent agreement, or in violent protest – both of which are irrelevant as the purpose was and is, to illicit a response... ANY response, and they have been very successful at it. Therefore, the 1959 coined word “neoconservative” first used by a journalist to describe a new type of conservative was not that popular at the time. In fact, until the 21st century, very few people even knew such word existed until the media and then the blogs-sphere started using a shortened version of the word neoconservative; neocon. Like jingoism (jingoist), it's new form and new meaning was meant as a slur against conservatives who as Websters defines it as:

2. a conservative who advocates the assertive promotion of democracy and United States national interest in international affairs including through military means

Primarily, this is used to describe any and all (regardless of actual political leanings or thoughts) who supported the Iraq War and removal of Saddam Hussein from power. Like jingoist, neocon again has a negative use and is used as an accusation or attack. Calling someone a neocon was supposed to illicit the response: “No, I'm not a neocon”. Since no-one liked the word, and the people enmasse did not stand up and start support groups like “I'm a neocon and proud” of “NFWD” (Neocons for World Domination - I totally made those up btw), etc... the word stuck as a slur against Republicans when a Democrat needed a good zinger to throw out there. While very little of America, then or now, would espouse to actually fitting the definition of a neocon, I think it's time an accurate definition of some more colorful of the Democratic party be identified with some new terminology. The New Liberals are not like the old liberals like JFK, Truman, FDR, etc. Those Democrats would, in todays world, be Republicans. While the media and various PolySci organizations and Universities squabble over when and how much the Democratic party slid left, and the Republican Party slid right leaving the moderates alone and naked wondering where their clothes have gone – we're all left in the swamp of words hurled as arrows from one side of the political spectrum to the other by the politicians and the parroting and biased media. Until now, I believe the Democrats have had the upper hand in that, they are much more creative with language and have kept the Republicans either on the defensive or stuck in a library looking up definitions like “jingoism”. Republicans need a word that encompasses the New Liberals... the Code Pinks, the Dennis Kucinich's of the world who's views are, well, far from progressive or contemporary but very much radical and a very effing kooky. How can language possibly define a moderate liberal the same as a kooky liberal? Sure, Republican's have up until this point, been trying to be as creative with words but failing miserably. Moonbat is a favorite, but has little to describe in political terminology what a Moonbat actually stands for. Are there degrees of moon-bat or are they all clumped into one? “Liberal” and “Lefty” are sometimes used – the old standby “Commie-Pinko” doesn't really encompass the correct definition any longer as most of the worlds Communist countries have gone the way of the Dodo. “Socialists”? Meh... it hardly has zing! to it and you can't abbreviate it in a way that's got sting or that could possibly put an elitist Democrat on back on their heels in defense. No, there needs to be another word, a combination of words. Something that has some “POP” to it, something that will illicit a strong opinion one way or another but ultimately, will illicit SOME response. It's got to be catching, have some zing – be easy to say, easy to remember and most of all, based in reality. So far there is no such word and we all know what that means... we have to make up a word that can encompass the meaning.

In the spirit of being bi-partisan and to allow the Republican's the opportunity to think of and perhaps get the creative juices flowing, I created a new word that probably will not stick, that no-one will like or use, but which MAY get the Republican's back in the game here with a word of their own to describe the ever left-leaning rabid and moderate liberals of today and the future. What I call the “New Liberals” are really Zealo-libs. Z-libs for short. What's it mean? Well... let me provide you with a definition or two that may help explain:

Zealolib

Two entries found.
Zealolib

Main Entry:
zee·lo·lib
Pronunciation:
\ˌ'zē-lō-lib\
Function:
noun
Date:
2007
1 : A liberal who expresses and advocates mostly negative and critical extremist positions without need or want of a better suggestion or plan.
2 : To provide an “anti-anything” stance.
3 : Repetition of rhetoric or slander without providing evidence to the contrary.
4 : Denouncement and criticism for criticism's sake or for political aspirations only.
— zealoliberalism \-və-ˌti-zəm\ noun
— zealoliberal adjective
See also Zlib

While one term is fine, there are thresholds of Zeloliberalism that one term simply cannot fully encompass. The diversity of Zelolibs are such that, can one really lump in Richardson with Code Pink? I don't think I could live with myself making that vast of a generalization – and besides – Zelolibs and Moderate Liberals just won't take such a ludicrous comparison seriously and I don't blame them. While I chalk up the “neo-con” as slander BECAUSE it doesn't provide the layers and depth of difference between a Rush Limbaugh and a Ron Paul, that does not mean that I, the creator of the Zelolib term, would want to stoop as low and only create one word to encompass what is ... a vast array of crazies and moderates. Therefore, I must now delve into the picture that hopefully will provide some explaination of it all. To varying degrees, a Zelolib could be a Zelo-Com or a Zelo-Hipster. In order to further define what each of these things are and what they include, it will be necessary (I”m sorry to say) to further refine this at a future date. As I said in the beginning, the terminology changes as do the politics... while we can chalk up little change to “neoconservative” over the past 60 years, Republicans have a need to be accurate and factual – therefore, these definition's may NOT be accurate next year or the year after that.

From bad to better Examples in pictures

Zealocom

Zealosoc

Zealohipster

Zealolib (not the generic kind, but the specific kind)

Zealodem

Now that there is a definition of what a Zealolib is, further layers of detail on the types of definitions to the word, pronunciation, descriptors and variants, as well as MORE depth as to different levels of a Zealolib as well as specific examples of who and what each one would be, I'm hoping this will serve as a starting point for a word easier to use than mine, more specific and one that will rrrrrrroooll off the tongue without hesitation. Republicans are in dire need of this word to accurately and figuratively describe the self loathing, cynicism, hate, rabidness, slander, and utter rubbish some Democrats are spewing each and every day in hopes they can win a political erection... err... election. Democrats have and are now pandering to the lowest denominator with "Petraeus Betray Us" ads by Moveon.org in the NYT, as well as utter denial of the consequences of an Iraq failure not just for America, but for the entire world. While that may be our future given a Democrat in the White House in 2008 - what they are not talking about are the consequences. THAT is why we need a new term for these people - such that blame can be levied on each and every headstone when the terrorist come home to America to roost.

U.S. defeat must happen...

[Tags: Iraq, politics, war, U.S. Defeat, Terrorism,
September 11]

There's no doubt that the American people do not have the stomach for what is needed in Iraq. Since 2003, the American people have been in tug of war between the far-left rhetoric stating, "Iraq war was not necessary... cannot be won... we must leave." This opinion is shared by America and most all of Western civilized societies in Europe, Asia, Canada, South America, Australia, and other countries that enjoy a non-Caliphate based fanatic-Islamic based cult, such that Al Qaeda, the Taliban, Hamas and some other 100+ Islamic terrorist organizations want. On the other side, the Bush Administration decided to invade and remove Saddam Hussein and after a masterful invasion and removal of Iraq's elite and standard military, failed to listen to his commanders and failed to have a solid plan to quickly stand the country up and pull out. The Bush Administration then failed over years to make progress until lately, when a military surge was identified to stabilize security and remove a branch of Al Qaeda called "Al Qaeda in Iraq", and has used his bully pulpit to also use rhetoric to try and convince the America people that Iraq must be able to stand on it's own and it's in the worlds best interest that Iraq not become another Taliban or Terrorist stronghold, or that Iraq is not the catalyst for a civil war or worse, a larger Regional Sunni vs. Shia conflict which engages Iraq's surrounding country's. That has caused not really a debate, but a digging-in of positions such that, in my view, one side has committed to defeat and another side has perhaps, too late, identified a plan which will move forward and show progress that could identify success in a very difficult situation.

The Republicans in the Administration have made possibly too many mistakes to recover from - not because operationally or diplomatically they are impossible to archive, but because the delays in identifying a clear pathway have turned public opinion and have been "too little too late". This would be due to many factors:

1) The inability to read intelligence
2) The refusal of the Bush Administration to listen to commanders in 2003 and 2004
3) The refusal of the Bush Administration to be able to quickly change direction and reassess and adapt to the Iraqi violence, terrorists, and insurgency
4) The inability of the Administration to understand the complex dynamics of differing religious members, tribal war lords, and impacts of terrorist organizations and it's effect on progress.

In short, the planning was so bad, and the expectations and intelligence was so misread, and the Administration's refusal to change direction caused insurgency and terrorists to take root, make relationships with Iran or with other groups willing to fund these attacks, and allow these insurgents/terrorists to carry out a strategy of attempting to start a civil war. The purpose of this civil war would be to drive out the U.S. forces which have been keeping a civil war from starting. The amount of rhetoric and constant stubborn "stay the course" functions of the Administration, as well as personnel who were both overseeing as well as consulting Bush were the wrong people, at the wrong time. For example, if Colin Powell and Rice were to have not had to traverse Cheney and Rumsfeld and Rove, the outcome may have been different sooner and more progress could have been made, or, the extended occupation of Iraq may not have happened at all.

The Democrats have seized upon every vile slanderous method to discredit and destroy the functions of the Iraq war. They have utilized and adopted an "anti-war" stance for political gain in 2006 in order to make governmental gains in the Congress and are using those same methods in the 2008 Presidential election. NDO's such as moveon.org and other soft-money organizations created by prominent and rich, to raise money and take out attack ads against both political and military personnel not based upon fact, but as a legacy and commitment to defeat of the U.S. in Iraq. Almost all prominent Democrats from Harry Reid, Senate President, Nancy Pelosi, House Chairwoman, Murtha, Durbin, Kerry, Kennedy, Biden, Feinstein, and others all have stated categorically, that the purposes for the Bush administration to stabilize and prop up Iraq to stand on their own as a peaceful nation, has been lost and it is impossible for success to be achieved.

The Democratic party has embraced an extremist viewpoint of far-left Liberal and Socialist methodologies, such that "loons" are used to interrupt House and Senate house meetings. Rabid anti-war groups with members such as Cindy Sheehan who has been arrested over and over are continually allowed to attend meetings where they scream and are re-arrested only to continue again at a future date/time/ meeting. Politicians have embraced the rabid-left and socialist attacks as an alignment to polls in hopes to gain political power - not end the war. Quotes from Presidential candidates such as:

Obama:"We've got to get the job done there [Afghanistan] and that requires us to have enough troops so that we're not just air-raiding villages and killing civilians, which is causing enormous pressure over there."

Schumer: "And let me be clear, the violence in Anbar (Iraq) has gone down despite the surge, not because of the surge. The inability of American soldiers to protect these tribes from Al Qaeda said to these tribes we have to fight Al Qaeda ourselves. It wasn't that the surge brought peace here. It was that the warlords took peace here, created a temporary peace here. And that is because there was no one else there protecting."

Durbin: If I read this to you and did not tell you that it was an FBI agent describing what Americans had done to prisoners in their control, you would most certainly believe this must have been done by Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime - Pol Pot or others - that had no concern for human beings. Sadly, that is not the case. This was the action of Americans in the treatment of their prisoners."

Kerry: You know, education --- if you make the most of it, you study hard and you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't you get stuck in Iraq."

Not only are Democrats willing to slander and attack our military who are being dismembered, getting injured, bleeding and dying on orders of their government, but they are willing to call them murderers as well as stupid. The Democratic party has embraced the defeat in Iraq and will not discuss consequences of that defeat. This reason is that the Democrats will make sure they position themselves to be in governmental power and MUST, MUST show a defeat of both Bush as well as against terrorist. It is important to point out however, that the Democrats do not believe in the defeat of America in Iraq to the point that they will, as they have the majority in both Houses of Congress, to de-fund the Iraq war - effectively stopping U.S. involvement in weeks. That would be political suicide and as such, would validate that the Democrats have moved to a socialist stance and share the "kook" mentality of the rabid.

The consequences to the political fallout from such a defeat are not discussed because it's too horrible to discuss... the "what if" scenario's are dire. The majority of analysts and also my own opinion is that, not only will terrorism grow and establish a new stronghold with Iraq, but a clarion call of rhetoric from terrorists organizations will use the U.S. defeat as a new and worldwide recruitment tool showing such successes as the defeat of the U.S.S.R. in Afghanistan and now the defeat of the lone Super-Power in the United States. Not only will that ensure terrorism will be around for the next millennium both as a political and military strategy, but it will ensure the breakdown of borders and countries themselves - and may issue the start of a worldwide effort of genocide and conversion under threat, to radical Islamic as well as other ideologies. This effectively will put our world wide civilization back 500 years. As the current countries and societies are NOT willing to forcibly remove terrorists and accept collateral damage of dead men, women and children; we will allow it to continue to grow and take root in all countries while making feeble attempts to thwart their attacks.

It therefore becomes necessary for a future generation to be involved in yet another World War. That's right, I'm saying that this current catalyst of Iraq will issue in a future World War, the third repeatable mistake that we as the human race are too stupid to avoid. A World War that has a great possibility to include nuclear weapons and death on scale that can little be imagined. America, Europe and other Western nations will get hit again and again, and are doomed to endure 9/11 squared in multiple countries in multiple cities over the next few decades. America's aversion and "lack of stomach" for a hard fight is not the only fight. It is not this only fact that will ensure our deconstruction of the life we currently enjoy, but is one part of it. The attacks that we will have to endure in the future are therefore necessary to occur until people who are thinking political gains by admitting defeat are proved incorrect and harmful. That political gain is no longer a need - but survival of a society is the need. Until that happens, nothing will change. Make no mistake - I fully believe terrorists and ideologies are the biggest long-term risk to this world. Until the world is ready to provide no-quarter to terrorists and their supporters, we will continue to debate and discuss and fight amongst ourselves, which is exactly what the Bin Ladens are hoping for. They want this issue to eat Western society out from the inside out. Barring that, continued attacks to fuel that infighting and corrosion form the inside will be necessary. I feel that the reason another attack has not occurred since 9/11 is because the amount of corrosion taking place within the United States politically and down to it's individual citizens is such that another attack is not necessary - unless the United States comes together again and are resolute, I feel another MAJOR attack may not be necessary... small attacks showing Al Qaeda is still powerful and still "in charge" certainly will continue.

So both political parties are at fault, one before and one after. The military is the proverbial "monkey in the middle" being held up as a possible savior by the Republicans, and being denounced as a "traitor" by the Democrats. The fallout from such a defeat in Iraq will have dire consequences for Western society in the future as well as influence in the United States as well, it may have economic, financial as well as other possible impacts that have yet to emerge.

So in summary, the Democrats will eventually remove troops from Iraq, will declare defeat in Iraq, will blame the Bush administration, will blame the military and blame everyone and everything other than themselves. They will issue in a new age of attacks, lack of influence and the decline ultimately of the U.S. and most of Western democracy. They will hand Al Qaeda a recruitment tool and power as yet unheard of. In fact, an Iraq in civil war or a regional conflict including Lebanon, Iraq, Iran and Syria is actually the BEST CASE SCENARIO.

While the blustering in the Senate and House follow predictable partisan lines, until our way of life is threatened more so than the 20th Century Germany, Japan or possible Cold War enemy could, nothing will change. What is dysfunctional is how the U.S. Political system is more interested in political power - they do not yet understand or realize they are squabbling over the scraps from Bin Ladens table. I would urge those who want defeat to cut across the next 30-50 years of squabbling and embrace radical-Islam and join Al Qaeda as their goals are the same, their rhetoric is the same, and their belief system should now be the same. I'm resigned to the fact that the Democrats have less of a clue than the Republicans; a possibility that heretofore has not been yet realized. Unless extraordinary steps are being taken by extraordinary leaders and people who are yet to be identified (the current politicians and leaders are incapable of successfully wiping their own ass let alone take on a situation with this breadth and width) we our future generations are in major trouble. We're just too stupid to realize it.

Moore BS on Stern

[Tags: movies, documentary, Sicko, Moore, Howard Stern,
Film]

"Is my brown nose showing? Do you smell the monkey ass like I do?"

So I'm listening to Stern this morning (6/18/07) and he's got Jimmy Fallon and Michael Moore on. I've got Sirius in my car and a 1-2 hour drive in the morning so it's not too surprising eh? Anyway, I tune in just between Fallon and Moore - listen to a few incredibly lame phony phone calls about witches or something, and then Moore comes and and Stern starts giving him oral pleasure right there in the studio. Well, not really... not LITERALLY oral pleasure, but Stern's insanely huge schnoz was brown and smelled like the monkey cage at the zoo so you do the math. Apparently, Moore's next accumulatively creative and fictional take on a non-fiction documentary is soon to come out about America's health care system and also apparently, Moore is simply a misunderstood patriot, regular working stiff trying to do good for the country he loves. If there wasn't so much traffic this morning, I'd have pulled over and hurled my technicolor breakfast all over the Garden State Parkway.

Firstly, Stern who's reputation is as a fairly cutting edge rebel who pulls no punches was, this morning, giving Moore a hot oil massage, wishing for a happy ending and throwing so many watermelon sized softball questions at Moore that it sounded scripted. "I can't understand how people could be against this," cries Stern, when talking about a universal health care system. You see, Moore says this isn't an issue about politics, it's about people in need. Moore explains: ...And shouldn't your son, if he needed a new heart get one? Well, in todays system if you don't have health insurance like millions of people, you're son will die if you don't have health insurance so doesn't it make sense that your son, if he had a need of a new heart, get one for free? First of all... what the hell in life is free again? There ain't nothing free pal. Maybe Moore forgot that being a celebrity and staunchly supported by the elite masses in Europe, he doesn't have to pay. A point that he may have lost sight of his "working stiff" upbringing in Flint Michigan. (Note: That last passage was chock FULL of sarcasm.) Secondly, making the manipulative master of the incongruous "cut and fade" editing room out to be some patriot and saint of the United States who just wants to help people is an out and out lie in itself. Stern can kiss my lily white ass with that garbage - what... lesbian's doing each other with bowling balls while getting spanked by drunk midgets in clown costumes getting old Howie? I guess Stern's followers are so brain dead and burnt out that the obvious push to get supporters for Moore who shares Stern's dislike for the neo-con Bush administration was just too much - therefore, he needs to inject some of his own blatant propaganda and play patty-cake with Moore while making Moore out to be the flag waving Robin Hood of Flint Michigan's working stiffs.

So here's a short synopsis of Moore's work:
<list>
*Roger and Me poked some fun and a shitty stick at Corporate American fat cats. Sure... everyone loves to hate the big guys. Right on brotha!

*Stupid White men takes on race, and how the black man is kept down by whitey. Uhh... hey, didn't the Emancipation Proclamation change all that?

*Bowling for Columbine took on the NRA and gun nuts - anyone who has a gun is someone to be feared. Hell, they're probably planning on shooting your stupid ass right now!

*Fahrenheit 9/11 said it was all Bush's fault. Gee, wonder where the Socialist rabid left-wingers got their mantra for the past 7 years?

*"Sicko" will now take on the Health care industry because, well, we should all be socialists and everyone should have free health care dammit. Even those damn soldiers Moore took illegally to Cuba. Yeah, even them.</list>

Is this the same U.S. patriot Michael Moore who said:

''We Americans suffer from an enforced ignorance. We don't know about anything that's happening outside our country. Our stupidity is embarrassing."

"They (Americans) are possibly the dumbest people on the planet."

"We like nonfiction and we live in fictitious times. We live in a time where we have fictitious election results, that elect a fictitious president. We live in a time where we have a man sending us to war for fictitious reasons."

Yes, and we watch fictitious manipulated dialog and interviews from dishonest and manipulative people like you Mikey. These quotes have quite a little following and show a little bit of depth into what Moore is really all about. Let's take the first one: "...possibly the dumbest people on the planet." Given that, why else would Mikey make more movies and make millions - where else but the land of the "stupidest people on the planet" who will pay their hard earned flag waving cash to prove their stupidity, one ticket at a time. The irony is thick and drippy. Then we get to the second quote: "We don't know anything that's happening outside our country. Our stupidity is embarrassing." Again with the stupidity - Moore is banking on people being stupid - how else could he so easily make his money off of interesting editing and manipulation. He's betting his fame and fortune on providing what he believes in his egotistical self-righteous and elitist mind is "dog food for the idiotic masses"; and of course, those "stupid people" just lap it up, Pavlovian style. I have to give Mikey some credit - he knows his audience and plays to it like a master. The third quote is where he lays out some of his own personal agenda - you see Bush muscled in on his territory. No one should be playing to the sheep but him and Moore's making hundreds of millions of what he calls, "fuck you money." Bush? I'm sure Moore would paint his Farenhype 9/11 bullshit with the brush strokes of a master and playing to the conspiracy theory nut-jobs that exist all over the world, paint a dozen or so dots of happenings, a few unexplained issues, a few murders, some shady dealings, oil money and a war and whaaaala! A movie about nothing - Seinfeld would be proud I tell you!

His books and movies aren't about being a patriot - it's about showing what Moore's hate about Capitalism, about Democracy, and about Freedom; in short his utter contempt and dislike of a Nation that provides him the freedom to bash it, and pays him well for doing so. He'd much rather have some Stalin and Mao with a pinch of Chomsky and maybe to turn it up a notch, a BAM! BAM! of Marx. Moore doesn't show the hope, the bright light at the end of the tunnel or the dream of a better world - he bashes in hopes of turning minds to his way of thinking. To detest what this country stands for, what it is, what it was and how to remove it from the earth and change it forever to something, anything else. White people... bad. Wealthy people like a CEO - bad. Guns - bad. Bush - bad. U.S. health care - bad. Yes, playing to Michael's moronic masses takes talent. For people who don't like socialism, who like our Capitalistic methods, who think hard work will equate to a payoff to the American dream and to those who have FOUND that American dream know better. We've been educated right along with the elitist snobs who think they know what's best for you and me while we work and provide for our families and do what we need to do to get by. Are there exception? Do good people get screwed? Sure they do. They get screwed just as often in a Capitalistic Democracy as they do in a Socialistic Democracy or a Communist Dictatorship. Each system may SAY they're better but they're not; all contain the "haves" and the "have nots". I don't like Socialism because I don't want to pay for some lazy shit hole like Moore who's not ambitious and who needs a heart transplant because he wasted 30 years on a couch eating Doritos and yanking his wanker. Nor do I feel the need to pay for some deadbeat dirt bag who beats his kids and his wife after shooting up, but needs to get HIV drugs and the guy hasn't had a job in 12 years. Yeah, he deserves a break by me and a few million other hard working authentic "regular guys" (even some from Moore's cherished but not quite honest home town of Flint Michigan) to pay for that scum. Moore believes we should also be offering free health care to the illegals who walk across our border as well. Well... how about we just invite the whole friggin' world to Mikey's house and he pays for all of us... how about that? He's got the dough. Maybe Mikey wouldn't mind parting with his hundreds of millions in a distribution of wealth a la Chomsky, who owns 2 very very nice homes in a 98% primarily white neighborhood of other wealthy people from Massachusetts. Give me a break.

"There's a gullible side to the American people. They can be easily misled. Religion is the best device used to mislead them."

That's right Mikey - show them how gullible they can be and entice them to yet again go on the magic carpet ride of bullshit and watch another 100 minutes of your kool-aide garbage under the guise of a "documentary". You're scum, you've always been scum and you'll continue to be scum. I'll be glad when you keel over in a bowl of dip or have a coronary on the shitter and they find your fat sweaty carcass take pictures and let the 12 year old Photoshop wizards have at your memory. I'll drink to another rich, dumb elitist's early demise and know that there really is a bit of karma left in the world. Do yourselves a favor people and be a critical of Mr. Moore's bullshit as you are of everything else. Moore lies and manipulates more than most and makes a living on it - as with Bowling for Columbine he misrepresents the truth with lies (seems that's mentioned in the Bible in a few places with some guy named Satan) and then tries to get has-been radio jocks who've gotten his 500 million dollar pay day to take it easy on him because they now share a hate ideology. (The enemy of my enemy is my friend syndrome). Don't believe the hype or the claptrap Moore tries to put out there - he's no patriot. He's no working stiff. He's not from Flint Michigan, and he's not looking out for your welfare or the soldiers welfare - but his own fat, white, elitist ass. Remember that.

Oh and Howard? Yeah - time to hang up the headphones dude. You now suck and stink the place up way too much and way to often. Go out and find a hard drinking midget who doesn't mind playing anal ring toss and can throw luncheon meat. Make the show a little interesting again will ya?

Forget you're on the internet?

[Tags: forums, chat, argument, snob, elitist,
idiots]

I'm part of a few different discussion forums. A few of them, for quite a while and I'm always amused when people start trying to boss other people around on the internet. My assumption is that they are either forgetful and have forgotten that they are just another faceless, nameless and powerless doobie with an internet connection trying to tell other people what to do. The second option is, that they are so egotistical and bossy that they truly think others on the internet will have to do what they say because, well, they are BETTER than the other person. That "holier than thou" snobbishness does come through on discussion forums if you hang around long enough - you really do get the feeling that you know exactly how people could be in R/L. I've always known that people are very different on the internet than in R/L because the worst thing that can happen on the internet is your service provider shuts down your connection... that's tantamount to Dad confiscating your car keys before the big date on Saturday night. Mostly what happens on discussion forums is you get suspended for posting on that forum or (*gasp*) banned from posting from that forum. I've been neither suspended or banned (though I'm sure some would like me to be), yet I find that those who wish to impose their will upon another unknown IP address connecting from some router somewhere in the world, hilarious as hell.

What I'd like to ask these people is: Do you REALLY believe anyone will take you seriously? Do you for one moment believe, your rant about "Don't EVER tell me what to do, GOT IT?" is going to stop someone from pushing that button over, and over, and over and over again? Is it that they believe they are so much better? so much more successful than the hapless person they are berating that they feel the other person will be COMPELLED to follow these commands? In truth - just the opposite. What happens is it shows a very interesting chink in the armor doesn't it. The button now pushed got a very interesting reaction - the compunction is to ... push it again. Same or more vehement response? Push it again... and again. Now the threats come which are even more laughable than the commands... what are ya gonna do? Make more of an idiot out of yourself and try to top the last bit? Drive 5,000 miles to my house and berate me? Throw a temper tantrum and thrash around like an irate 3 year old?

Get a grip people - this is the internet okay? We are anonymous for the most part and I could be a 12 year old in Massachusetts's or a 65 year old grandma in South Africa using a Proxy server to connect. You really have no idea and you're going to make a total ass out of yourself by thinking you have any power at all over anyone else. Sure, forum admins and server owners can ban an IP address, an IP range, a MAC address... big deal. If you're not an admin and just another keyboard jockey who's trying to impose your will on another keyboard jockey, jockey #1 is the biggest idiot on the planet. Grow up for crying out loud. You have no power over anyone else - you're easily ignored or harassed until you're made a complete fool and have to move on to pastures where the users don't already know you're an idiot snob with a superiority complex. Play nice - show some respect and stop taking yourself so seriously. Arguing on the internet is stupid if you egotistical Napoleon's didn't already know - you can't win and won't win. All you do is show a weakness by letting someone get under your skin and you trying to boss them around like they are your little brother or sister.

If nothing else, it is amusing so by all means, continue to make an ass out of yourself. I find it very entertaining juxtaposed with sadness and pity. After all, how superior can one be when they cannot and do not realize they are stupid? It's a laugh that keeps on giving.

Here's a little test to see if you're one of those "snobby egotistical snots" who try to boss others on discussion boards or in chat sessions:

Take the Quiz!!

The Inevitable Insanity

[Tags: Guns, Virginia Tech, shooting, Columbine, gun ban,
massacre]

Today, at Virginia Tech, 32 people were killed by a lone gunman who walked onto the campus and proceeded to shoot students in classrooms and dorms. While the motivations are not yet provided, details are sketchy in the media, the shooter has yet to be identified by name and the campus is reeling in shock - we are left wondering what the hell this was all about, the inevitable knee jerk reaction is ready to jump out.

MORE GUN CONTROL

What's obvious to the knee jerk reactionaries is that at fault here are in-animate objects... tools if you will, hell bent on the destruction of the human race. These molded pieces of steel and wood are obviously possessed as they are blamed for this tragedy not the people weilding these weapons who are sick or possibly suicidal. As Columbine provided the fodder for the Brady Campaign and IANSA to further the anti-gun agenda, so this latest round will again froth up those like Senator Diane Feinstein or Henry Waxman to already be planning a Congressional review and issue legislation to bring back the Assault Weapons Ban. I predict somethings will soon occur:

- Bloomberg & his insane anti-gun Governor posse will use this for their political benefit
- Hillary will use it on the campaign trail as will most of the Democrats running for the Presidency in 2008. Most will make promises to curb guns
- IANSA will use this as a focal point with the U.N., Soros and the Brady Campaign
- Either a TV movie, Lifetime movie or a Michael Moore Columbine Clone movie will be made of this event
- Politics will rule this issue, not calm minds and logic

The effect? All of this only hurts citizens MORE and protects us LESS. Would a few students who had access to firearms been there - they could have prevented some of the 32 from being killed. What the Virginia Tech shooting shows us, is that defenseless people in a large concentration like a University, makes easy targets. Who was supposed to protect these people? The police? The University? The University security? Who?

The police where already THERE and they couldn't prevent the rest from being killed. What needs to happen is NOT a banning of guns, but legislation allowing MORE guns - especially guns on a campus such that students can defend themselves. We already know what happens when they DON'T have guns to protect themselves - how about we try something else instead? The tragedy will inevitably cause the rabid gun haters to come out on the news, become the armchair generals saying "I told you so", when nothing could be further from the truth. We need to stop playing the victims, stop expecting everyone else to protect us from the bad things that go bump in the night. Stop thinking that the police will get there in time and know exactly where to go and what to do. We are responsible for protecting ourselves. I'm not saying anything different would have happened were some students to have access to a firearm while on that campus. But certainly, the possibility exists that the maniac shooter could have been brought down or incapacitated before 32 kids died.

- Banning guns takes guns out of the hands of legal owners - bad guys still get them illegally.
- No amount of cameras or metal detectors or security forces will prevent this from occurring again.
- No University or College can exempt the cost of having all these security precautions as it would make the cost of going to that college too high to continue to exist.
- Only idiots blame inanimate objects for actions of people

The Second Amendment to the Constitution
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
Wake the hell up people and use your Constitutional right to self defense! These are YOUR freedoms, use them!

Are we really wimps?

[Tags: Nazi, Policy, Police, wimp, constitution,
nanny]

I have been on hiatus for a while from blogging, but something that I read recently on another blog When did America become a nation of frightened wimps started me thinking. Steve Olsen makes a damn good argument: Since when did we start accepting this stuff? Did we accept it or are we simply too busy to bother bitching about it? Do we want to bitch but to politically correct to want to rock the boat or are we IN the boat but sinking because we cannot or do not know how to assemble and support each other?

Why it's not the governments fault:

I'm not big on pushing blame or responsibility for my life others - I have that oh so Western mentality that says "You are the master of your own destiny" though I sometimes think the Buddhist view of "You have your own destiny but it has not yet been revealed" is kinda sexy in a way. Yes we're a representative government not a direct Democracy - we the citizens still hire and fire our politicians locally and at the State level... they represent us at the Federal level and if they do a lousy job it's OUR job (yours and mine) to boot them and get someone better. Government my design is NOT supposed to involve themselves in your life directly which is why I tend to like less government. Yet as Steve identifies we really are in a nanny state of being... I think it's fear that got us some of the way, it's socialism that got us the rest of the way. Freedom of Choice and Free Will both are Western values that are highly esteemed. If I want to kill myself on Chocolate shakes and 2lbs. of McDonalds fries eaten every day for 20 years that's my prerogative. If I LIKE lard and want to eat it, no one should tell me I cannot. Yet, the "public good" is the most common reason used to relieve us stupid cattle of citizenry of the "bad" things in life. so what's worse? Democrats creating a socialistic country where every decision is made for the "common good" (read: The BORG), or is it reactionary militarists like the Republicans - who claim strip searching old ladies at air ports and warrantless SWAT team entries in teachers homes is a laughing matter...

Police:
"Oops! Haha! Sorry - didn't know you guys WEREN'T making bathtub X in and selling it to minors! Haha! Wrong address don't you know - Bill there misread that GPS map and thought it was Maple Drive instead of Maple Ave. haha! Would you like to buy some PBA tickets and support our Police Athletic League ball this year?"
Teacher: "Go *bleep* yourself."

Is there a reason ... a REAL reason to have warrantless searches or is it Nazi type stuff? Well look at yourself in the mirror folks - YOU let it happen. That's right - it's YOUR fault - all of you. You can sit there and say "BS pal - I didn't vote for ________". So what. You're responsibility doesn't END with voting, it STARTS with voting. The last thing we need is more partisan misinformation - I don't care what political party or non-political party you aspire to. Republicans have good points and bad as do Democrats. Extremists on either side are the problem not the solution. Pelosi, Waxman, Murtha and the rest of the "leadership" of Congress are no better than Bush, Gonzales, Cheney and the rest. Everyone in between these idiots gets screwed unless we do something about it AFTER the voting is done. The circle jerk of partisan backslapping found on the Internet isn't the solution it's again, part of the problem. We need someone who will do the right thing no matter WHO or WHAT position it supports.

So are we wimps? Cowards? Ambivalent is more like it. I agree that these things in Steve's blog post have to be corrected - they're crap. It reminds me of the Amish shootings last year - I was so pissed and outraged but the Amish who lost their children weren't. They forgave the killer and his family, tore down the school and built a new one and moved on. We need to do the same - we need someone with character to tear down the monstrosity that is currently residing on either side of the political spectrum's... both left and right... and tear it down to what our founders saw was the strength in our system, in our country and in our people. We don't have to ditch the constitution - we need to ditch the people who are failing to follow and lead in the spirit of that constitution. Tear it down, burn it... WE moderates are the majority, not the loud mouths, the cynics and the whiners. It's time we grow a set of balls and start acting like it.

Brainwashing Yourself

[Tags: partisan, politics, rhetoric, brainwash, idiots,
stupidity]

As a debater, I love to hold peoples feet to the fire when they make irrational or generalized statements. On the opposite side of things, I sometimes make generalizations and am fine with admitting such and usually either have to provide proof that either the generalization is common or that I was wrong. Both have happened in the past.

What I love though is when people explain things, make claims and then provide their own words as proof. Now this would be okay in only a few situations. Maybe when the person is the "head of state" or a dictator of some kind. If they are the identified authority on a subject, such as Stephen William Hawking in physics or maybe Einstein - possibly Sherlock Holmes on investigatory police work... well, you get the idea.

Yet, with the Bush bashers frothing at the mouth and the adrenaline flowing for the mid-term 2006 Congressional elections, they are out in force! I've got nothing about Bush bashers as long as they provide accurate information that can be proven. You know, a little thing called "evidence" which must come from some type of universal authority of the type that is close to "truth" as possible. This evidence should be corroborated somehow with other sources - to lend itself to authenticity. Call me crazy, but living in a society of laws and a country built upon the rule of law which applied to everyone, it takes a little pinch of work to make your point. I shouldn't be able to say Jon Marksfield is green, without actually showing someone the pictures, a letter or two and maybe an eye witness who's seen him green. I also have to make sure it wasn't a bad pork chop or something that turned him green when I make the accusation.

What America is lacking right now, is the ability to provide that proof. Lots of accusations are being made which can be chalked up to rhetoric, and ultimately just partisan garbage. When people start to "quote themselves" as proof though - that's when you know we've hit the twilight zone.

For example - I recently had a debate with a person who I asked to provide some sort of evidence that they base their opinion on, and they provide me their blog links. Huh?

Yeah you heard right - their own blog links. That's their proof. Now I wasn't expecting much from an idiot like this anyway, but I thought I'd at least get a Chomsky or Marx or maybe a Mao... but no, I wasn't that lucky. I got his own blog posts. Well duh - of bloody course you think you're right but why back it up with YOUR OWN BLOG??

This is evidence of people brainwashing themselves. When they are so desperate that they cannot find evidence to back up their opinions, they feel the need to write their own evidence - in a blog. Now, call me crazy, but I never provide my blog as a FACT. What's contained in this blog are observations and my own opinion and NOT IN ANY WAY fact. Mostly, I try to stay tongue and cheek with this stuff since there's just so much partisan tripe and politically vomited hate out there. Why be the same thing as a thousand other blogs?

But these people actually, I think, have brainwashed themselves. They quote conspiracy theory, write a nice long blog page on it, then cite it as fact. Really. I'm not making this up. As pathetic as this may be, they go on forums and QUOTE THEMSELVES! If I thought that I was sometimes pathetic by even doing this type of thing off and on, THAT my friends is about as pathetic as one can get. Of course, I'm usually prevented from saying such a thing either by forum rules or by simply good taste on my part. But really - they quote themselves. How arrogant and tasteless and utterly devoid of reality must one be? Then they believe everything they post - they use conversations and blog posts from a year ago on a non-associated subject as proof of something. I'd provide an example but it's too sorry and pathetic to even show. It would be like GW Bush citing his axis of evil speech as proof that Iran has a nuclear weapon.

The best part of this is when they use quotations to try and bolster their points. Jefferson, Adams, Franklin, all the biggies are used to try and make their opinions
more valid. Lots and lots of quotes which have nothing to do with what they say...

This is all the more reason to question everything - in my limited time on the internet, I've found 99% of people make it all up - their posts, their thoughts, their information (wikipedia is included), as well as internet sites and all opinion pieces are based on nothing. It's like a network computer system using the Seinfeld method - it's an internet about... nothing.

As a matter of fact, this opinion post right here is based actually on ... nothing. Though I don't have to necessarily convince anyone of anything other that there are some wacko assed wierdo's out there trying to get you to believe what they believe? I say... believe what YOU want to believe and make up your own minds and question EVERYTHING!

Education - BooHiss! (Part 1)

Tenure – this is the worst idea ever. Because a teacher has taught in a school for a certain amount of years, they will continue to do so, whether or not they do good or bad. No other job has this type of benefit. Even in the military or government service, a person can be removed easier than removing a tenured teacher. While teachers should not longer be tenured, nor should their pay be so low. Good teachers should be reviewed twice yearly and be tested for competence in their field of study – after all, they are supposed to know what it is they are teaching! Good performance should benefit a higher pay raise and bonus, bad performance a low raise and no bonus. Every job everywhere has this structure – why not education?

Zero tolerance - Which makes zero sense. This policy is put in place to avoid accountability by administrators and educators from having to make decisions, and to remove liability of the school in situations where they may be held liable. This is the cowards way out. For example, small children (ages between 6 and 10) are being expelled from school because mommy put a plastic butter knife in with the kids lunch. Zero tolerance says that a “knife” of any kind is a weapon and therefore the child must be expelled. That's idiotic. Why are we not holding the schools administrators liable to make decisions based upon findings and facts? Isn't that why they are there? If they are not running the school and making decisions why is there a need for administrators? Zero tolerance also teaches kids the wrong thing – that there is no flexibility in decisions and in effect there is “intolerance”. Not something kids should be learning at school.

The Spending “black hole” - Which has a direct line to your property taxes. Did your taxes go up this year? If they did, be sure that some of that money was earmarked for education, whether or not you still have kids in school or not. Want to home school? Sorry – taxes are the same thank you very much. Want to send your kid to private school because your school system sucks? Taxes still come out. The 'black hole” is nothing more than pocketed spending that is then “creatively” massaged by your local government and spent elsewhere. Someone's getting rich off your taxes and little is being put directly into your schools (though I'm sure there are exceptions to this). Using my state as an example, spending is at an all time high, student's testing results are at an all time low. You figure it out.

Colleges are the indoctrination of Socialism of America - Overall there are any studies that show the overwhelming majority of college administrators and professors are liberals. Many who have made the news of late are ṻber liberals or what I will call, Socialists. These “professors” don't really want to provide a higher caliber of learning and thought processes to your student; they want to provide them a basis of distrust and hate of America's way of life by continually pounding away at them, day after day, with constant dissent and anti-American fervor. Jay Bennish was child's play compared to what kids hear in Colleges and Universities around America. They come out with degrees in all sorts of fields yet don't have a grasp in reality, how those things work. They of course are demanding $50K to $60K a year, but cannot function in a company (who by the way is an evil capitalist junta), but sure as shit know how to plan a rally and knows what card stock to buy for large signs that say “No War for Oil”. That they can do in spades. Then I get to the REASON why corporations are going off shore for their job placement. Could it be that College educated kids just are too stupid with their degree to function in a corporation? Could it be that the demand of $60k a year for incompetence strikes corporations as a bad move, and why not get a smart “hit the ground running” Masters Degree holder in India, who will do a bang up job for $30k, as an alternative? I'm no economics genius, but it doesn't sound like the America-hating brain-washed socialist College grad has a chance. How about Colleges sticking to the curriculum instead of filling kids heads with nonsense?

I've come to ursurp the zionists and have sex with smart white women!

The Yale story with our own Taliban student has been well publicized and covered by the MSM so I won't go all into that, other than to say, it's par for the course in American higher education. This is no surprise, and had Uday and Osay lived and were they not charged with Crimes Against Humanity like their father, they'd be teaching Middle East studies at one of our Ivy League schools today and little silver spoon junior would be eagerly signing up for office time at the bulletin board.

The utterance of “God” in schools - This is NOT a crime folks. People bring in their lives and homes to schools all the time. Your kid doesn't want to say the Pledge of Allegiance – don't stand up and do it. Don't want to say “God” then no ones making you. Your kid feels left out because of it – that's the price you pay for sticking up for your beliefs. Sorry. Nothing in life is free and having convictions your willing to stand by sometimes takes a little courage. Stop whining and pushing your BS on the rest of us. They certainly don't like it when the “bible thumpers” try to convert them, so why are they trying to convert people who actually believe in “God” - isn't that also hypocritical?

The time has come for America's Educational quid pro quo to end. It's time someone stands up and takes on the Unions and sets the stage for future generations of Americans to be fully educated about their history, about Math and Science and Language. This includes prep-test classes and "cheat classes" designed to teach kids how to take exams and NOT how to actually understand the material they SHOULD be being taught in the first place! What we do get are kids who know hot to test well, but ones who really don't understand the material at all. What we are left with is an educational system that drives taxes up and we the taxpayers get nothing in return as a society. Who looses? The citizens and their kids. The winners are the unions and those within the local and state governments who constantly get MORE money and produce LESS results. If ANYTHING in America needs a social run program it's Education. The Dept. of Education is castrated and ineffective as well as lazy. State and local school districts are corrupt and could care less about raising the bar of learning for kids coming through the system. This lackluster dysfunction trickles down into society as a whole where more jobs are outsourced overseas while disenfranchised youth think America sucks because they can't get a job. It's a full vicious circle that needs to be corrected.

So, who wants the job?

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://observationalpissings.blogspot.com/2006/03/education-boohiss-part-2.html' title='Education - BooHiss! (America is below the Top 20 overall in the world, in test scores)
- The inability of schools to remove tenured teachers, due to the inexplicably strong teachers union
- The stupidity of schools applying “zero tolerance” policies which take the responsibility of school administration out of all conflicts and teach children inflexibility
- The “black hole” of education spending and the political spin this always incurs
- The overwhelming liberal slant of America's colleges who employ teachers who would be more at home in a protest line than in a college classroom
- The anti-Americanism of some colleges, such as Yale, who will allow Sayed Rahmatullah Hashemi, the Deputy Foreign Secretary of the Taliban, not just as a student to Yale, but also allows him on campus – while demanding and revoking America's own ROTC from it's campus
- Taking the issue of uttering the name “God”, during the pledge of allegiance in some elementary schools, and taking that issue all the way to the United States Supreme Court

Jay Bennish -
While the blogsphere has certainly split down political party lines on this one, the fact remains that Mr. Bennish is a Geography teacher, not a civics or PolySci teacher in a High School. The 20 minute dissertation he gave on the evils of America and his own spin on the State of the Union address, recently given by Bush, was not only “the wrong place at the wrong time” but inappropriate for his class. Secondly, he's a hypocrite for providing only one side of the story – yet at the end, stating that everyone should make up their own mind. I wonder why he didn't provide another 20 minutes on the “opposite” side of the story? Could it be that he really DOESN'T want his students making up their own minds and simply wants to load them up with one side so they agree with him? He was wrong and the content and delivery of his 20 minute rant was inappropriate and he should be canned. Period.

MJ hates little girls!

Prepubescent boy toys – It's a sickness and I don't know where it comes from, but I guess some of these women teachers just can't handle grown up men in the sack and need to go to hairless boys for their sexual fantasies. I'm sure the 12 year old boys won't whine too much with hot sex from young and alluring Miss Bambie Nympho. This puts a dent into the whole “bigger is better” penis theory though doesn't it.

School vouchers – The reason this issue has so many controversy legs is because allowing vouchering will demand an entire overhaul in our educational system, and the union and people getting rich off the current method just cannot have that occur. Every year, Educational systems get thrown more money, yet the quality of education goes down and down. Kids are stupider now than 20 or 30 years ago and it's not because of a genetic flaw,it's that the system sucks. Here's the solution:

- Remove the Teachers Unions, as they are no longer needed or effective
- Remove the “tenure” issue and put competition back into teaching
- Overhaul the educational system and allow vouchers to separate the good and bad school is increase money to good schools, decrease money on bad schools and run the bad ones out of business.
- Require schools to follow a uniform dress code which will slightly modify the overwhelming individualism at the early grades.
- Ditch all of the “zero tolerance” policies and make the administrators work for their paycheck, know the students and intervene when necessary.
- Incorporate a standardized curriculum which can be added to by school states, but nothing can be removed.
- Remove all “quotas” for entry into colleges – it's stupid and demoralizing
- Fund all students who cannot pay for higher education – no students should be turned away from colleges who meet a minimum GPA just because their parents cannot pay or the student didn't get a scholarship. This could be a government loan or grant, which would need to be expanded with all the money saved from the “black hole” of educational funding.
- Religion, location, race and ethnicity and economic factors no longer play a role.

Testing Results by school should be tied to their funding. If the teachers in that school are not reaching the kids and the kids testing is bad – it's up to the school's individually to rectify the problem, strategize a solution and implement it. After school tutoring, mandatory help, summer school and advanced studies should be offered at all schools. Note: It is a testament to the dysfunction of American Education that our students at the High School level learn much less than poor 3rd world countries. The fallacy of “more money = better education” obviously is false.

Next entry: Part 2 of my ongoing rant against Un-Education

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://observationalpissings.blogspot.com/2006/03/education-boohiss-part-1.html' title='Education - BooHiss! It's all very tragic and my thorazine supplies are low (kidding - they're not low at all).

After reading the editorial, it seems these teens thought to pull a fast one after a bender, and skip on a restaurant bill. No biggie right? I mean, it's a common college prank - except that this time, they had an off-duty cop who moolights as an armed guard there. According to that guard, the teens were in an SUV and apparently the SUV was pointed straight at him and closing fast. According to Virginia law, police can in fact fire at a moving vehicle if that police officer feels their life is in danger by said vehicle. So that's exactly what happened.

Duhh...drunk and stoned no good? Duhhh... Me like pancake!

Now the driver of that SUV (see idiot picture above) was:
a.) intoxicated
and
b.) full of weed (the mary-jane buding kind)

And as such, was arrested after the shooting. Now the kid who was with that driver got shot by the cop/guard and was killed. WaPo puts that cop/guard on trial in their little poison editorial asking poignant questions about the bullet holes being in the side of the vehicle.

It is a bitter pill to find out actions have consequences isn't it? Yes a harmless prank on the restaurant turned into a fatal shooting. A gung ho cop/guard felt threatened by a 2-ton SUV barreling down on him (the nerve!) and felt he had to fire at it. Reasonable? Sure it is.

Could it be that the poor victim-teens in this case, shouldn't have been loaded and stoned on grass and probably shouldn't have skipped out on the bill? Ya think? Is it reasonable to think you'll need to pay for a meal if you go to a restaurant? This is no more harsh of a lesson than happens every day to not-so-smart and inexperienced youth, that life has consequences. Making a wrong choices certainly does put a damper on the day - especially when the cop/guard is a good shot.

To quote Chris Rock, "People tell ya life is short. No it's not. Life is long. Especially when you make the wrong decisions." Well, in this case, Chris is wrong. Seems these dorks made the wrong decisions and life still got short on 'em.

Call me callus and mean-spirited, but I'm hoping the judge slaps a very high fine and a 2 or 3 year probation on the driver, and wouldn't it be interesting if a separate jury (post-humus) for the dead kid (Mr. Brown) occurred and the judge fined his parents (of course, after the funeral) for not using very good judgement, being drunk and stoned and then skipping out on the bill. Now that would be a wake up call from hell wouldn't it!

Who would think a kid who by the editorials own account had this kind of past: "Mr. Brown -- a college student, an Eagle Scout, a guitar player -- had no criminal record."

In a separate news article from WaPo, the driver had this to say: "Smith, dressed in jeans, a leather jacket and scruffy white sneakers, said he is overwhelmed at the loss of his friend. "He was a great kid," Smith said. "He will be missed more than anyone who has ever died on me before."

SO THIS ISN'T THE FIRST PERSON WHO DIED ON HIM!?? Something's rotten with that statement right there.

But a GUITAR PLAYER - they NEVER go get drunk, smoke pot and skip out on meals. So I'm not buying it. String that cop up by his short and curlies by gum! Isn't getting drunk and stoned on weed and skipping out on breakfast covered under the 11th Amendment or something? No? Someone alert the ACLU already... jeeze.

Lucy's a Terrorist?

[Tags: Peanuts, terrorism, PETA, wierdo, ELF,
NJ]

It seems that Pamelyn Ferdin, a cute kid actress from the 1970's (you may remember her from Disney movies and some TV stuff if you're that old) is now heading up a terrorist organization. The same Kevin Kjonaas who's quoted saying:

"If a car being blown up in a driveway or animals being liberated from a lab scares them, then I would say that fear pales by comparison to the fear that the animals have every day. The teachers unions are still the strongest unions in the US - lets face it, getting a bad teacher out of a school or preventing them from providing not only detrimental information, lies, opinions, etc., is next to impossible. In my H.S. a band teacher was caught (on film) fondeling the young girls in the Silks and Color Guard, not once, not twice but three times. He was finally charged criminally and was put "on leave" from the school with full pay and benefits until he was ultimately asked to "retire".

Found on Little Green Footballs - this Geography teacher seem to be teaching civics and the new liberal history. Is Geography the same as History now? Granted it's been a while since I've been in school - but this guy should not only be removed from teaching, he should be banned from teaching anything, anywhere.

Geography Teacher from Overland High School in Colorado, Jay Bennish

Let's summarize - Bush isn't Hitler, but he's close. Israel exists because America needed an ally, Mexico will again go to war with America, Israel are the real terrorists - not the Palestinans, America kills innocent people on purpose, anyone in the CIA who "thinks like that", DOES want to kill innocent people, our flag represents the same thing as the Nazi flag or the Confederate flag depending on your perspective. Thank God for this kid finally having enough and recording the entire tirade for everyone to hear. At least the kid is asking educated questions and hasn't been brainwashed yet - it may however, only be a matter of time.

From the Denver Post:

"In the 20-minute recording, made on an MP3 player, teacher Jay Bennish described capitalism as a system "at odds with human rights." He also said there were "eerie similarities" between what Bush said during his Jan. 28 State of the Union address and "things that Adolf Hitler used to say."

The United States was "probably the single most violent nation on planet Earth," Bennish also said on the tape.

Bennish was placed on leave "to take some of the pressure off of him" during the investigation, which could wrap up in a week, Amole said.

Superintendent Monte Moses, who received a copy of the recording on Monday from 850 KOA-AM radio show host Mike Rosen, said it appears "a breach of district policy" occurred."

And this has what to do with Geography? All the little kool-aide drinkers in training are getting a great education. They can't read, write or add and subtract, but they sure as HELL know that the Republicans and our Government lie and are warmongering killers. Our government makes more weapons, kills more people than any other one! Yay! Let's just invite Castro and dig up the old bones of Lenin and have big 'ol ticker tape parade down through Manhattan, give them the key's to the city, erect a statue in their honor and start calling each other "comrade". Who's bringing the Vodka?

The funny part was when this teacher starts banging on capitalism and how money is the root of all evil. Got news for you ass hat - in every country in the world, money rules. There are have's and have not's everywhere, in every country, in every burgh, in every town and village. What mushroom does this guy live under and how the hell did this guy get to teach children? Search his home - it will be full of kiddie porn he uses when he gets himself in froth about Condi.

Another Opinion

And another

And yet another

Here, in my own state (not suprising, BTW) in Parsippany, NJ they are having a mock trial putting our President on trial. Here's a quote from dailyrecord.com from Morris County NJ:

"President Bush is being tried for "crimes against civilian populations" and "inhumane treatment of prisoners" at Parsippany High School, with students arguing both sides before a five-teacher "international court of justice." The panel's verdict could come as soon as Friday."

And then like, I said Bush like, you know, sucks

While not a very objectionable thing to have - mock trials have been going on in school rooms for a long time, and usually do represent the "hot button" issues in society - but what makes this very interesting when coupled with Mr. Communist PBS boy from Overland H.S., is that THIS, is exactly why people want to home school their kids. Children aren't learning what they need in their lives any longer - they are getting brainwashing sessions from either left OR right wing fanatics, and it just shouldn't be there. They are getting this type of learning from grade school with the ultimate "cherry" on the sundae being Liberal Colleges all across America.

The question, "Why are all of our soldiers under-educated?" The answer is argueably because the educated people are not very educated, but they are brain-washed. Fostering the distrust and negativity from a young age through high school and then topping it off in College - gee... I wonder why in 50 years, America will be invaded by Jamaica - the reason is, no one will be willing to defend what they have, nor their rights. This is typical of what children are learning in schools, and this dork of a teacher, who I hope is at least removed from ever teaching again, would be HAILED as a GENIUS at any Ivy League schools or State Universities. I wouldn't be suprised if Overland H.S. makes a class called "How to hate your country and Government" and gives him a raise!

Top 10 things Islamic countries need

[Tags: Top 10, Islam, Muslim, protests

Yes, it's been a few weeks since I've posted. Without much ado... let's get right to the list shall we?

(Please note, most of these items do not apply to the following countries, as I've been there and they're not that bad)
Turkey
Israel

Number 10: GUN CONTROL

I'm a big Second Amendment fanatic here in the U.S., but if anyone needs a George Soros or an IANSA involvement it's Iraq, Iran, et.al. It seems like you can buy RPG's at the local Swami-Mart for a few sheckles and while sipping tea and getting a hummus facial, learn the fine art of Semtex and electric fuses. These people having automatic weapons and rocket propelled grenades is like giving the good 'ol boys two cases of warm Genesee and a box of outlawed firecrackers.

Number 9: Toilets

I shouldn't have to explain this one - however it seems like these folks simply don't have indoor plumbing and still rely on a goat and some dried bladders to pail out water. Squatting in a dirt hole during a camping excursion is one thing, pinching a loaf in a hole on your nice new dirt floor and dirt house seems a little, well, uncivilized. Let's face it, the ROMANS had indoor plumbing over 3000 years ago, as they had BATHS, and were great at putting together stone roads (not just dirt ones), they also were instrumental in irrigation and aquaducts. Someone really should tell these folks that...

Number 8: Toilet Paper

Yes, with toilets, you get bio-degradable toilet paper. Say "so long" to the days of wiping your arse with your right hand and not washing it - and then snickering when shaking hands with those "stupid Americans". Yes, your poopy handshake is just a riot. I think the Western Europeans stopped doing that around the 1600's, the Far East even before that.

Number 7: Education

Contrary to what many Imam's and Mosques think, the following are NOT skills you can easily transition into outside of Jihad:

Flag Burning 101
Shoe Smacking 103
Chanting and Jumping (Lab)
AK-47 Firing 101
SemTex and C-4 201 (Chanting and Jumping Lab Pre-requisite)
Small Arms and RPG (Lab)
IED building (Field Study)
Allah Akbar Yelling (Small Arms and RPG Pre-Requisite)
Cell phone fuses and switches (IED Building Pre-Requisite)

You get the idea. Instead of learning about the "Infidels" and hating everyone and everything for simply being there - how about doing what people did in the Middle East oh say, 2000 years ago? Study of philosphy, mathamatics, culture. The tolerance 2000 years ago was much broader and well accepted in the Islamic world than today. It'll be a difficult thing to get a job with GE when you keep blowing up your cubicle with that mercury switch and blast caps.

Number 6: Jobs

The reason there so much shooting and protesting is because these people have no jobs. If they were busy making a living, they wouldn't have time to get so darned excited about everything and anything. No time to dust off the PKM and shoot in the air and be outraged at cartoons they haven't actually seen. Hell, American's don't have time to pee at work let alone take time off to pull the "zelots" from their cars and murder them on video tape. I can hear the talk around the huka now:

Ali Abi: Allah be praised! I wish I had time to cut some throats of some infidels but I'm swamped! Ali Muduba's got me swamped with Koran propaganda slogans until Thursday!
Muhamid: I know, I just told Buji the same thing. I wanted to jump and yell Allah Akbar (PBUH) in front of the infidel news camera's and scare some westerners. No luck.
Ali Abi: Let's shoot Ali Muduba and go get some!

Number 5: Soap

Why is it that these people don't wash? I mean, soap has now been around the world in one form or another since 1500 B.C., in more or less the modern version, since the 17th century by Ernest Solvay by using soda ash to make inexpensive soap. Now the Middle East may have many deserts and it may be an arid region, that doesn't excuse it from smelling like arse, nor for it's people to have B.O. beyond belief. One thing that would help that country immensely is the import of all sorts of soap, buckets and brushes and some instructions on it's use. I think one of the reasons they are so angry all the time is because they are mad at each other for smelling so bad and must take that anger out on the West for not teaching them the secret of soap. Using soap will also help with the poopy hands, as well, would assist in cleaning bodies, clothes, surfaces, etc. Here's a solution: America exports AMWAY, in which case the Middle East gets enough soap to choke themselves for decades, learns about pyramid schemes and capitalism all in one shot!

Number 4: Deodorant

Arid X-tra Dry, BAN, Speedstick, etc. Both Anti-Perspirant and Deodorant models are needed (See #5 above). Once they clean themselves they can deodorize their pits. This will help those brown stains under their burkas and white man-dresses. This will also take some of their anger away since they won't have to smell each others B.O. all the time.

Number 3: A Wal-Mart

Wal-Mart is a happy place - the Middle East needs some happy injections and Wal-Mart is just the ones to do it. How mad can Abu Muhammad Barin Al Killalot be when he greets the family from across the mosque into an air-conditioned and heated Wal-Mart with a "Hello and Welcome to Wal-Mart!" in arabic? Here's where you can get the designer burka's for prices not seen since 1994, and inexpensive dates and figs by the pound!

Number 2: A Sense of Humor

Here's where Hollywierd can play a part. America exports some of our tried and true sit-coms and provides every family free cable service. America doesn't have to pipe in pro-Western propoganda, we just need the Islamic versions of:

Cheers - called "Houka's Place"
A bunch of lazy men sit around the tent and smoke houka's while their wives work their fingers to the bone in the fields planting poppy for the heroine blackmarket, all the while getting into all sorts of hijinx!

Friends - called "Oh those Infidels"

A group of young jihadists are rooming in the same dirt dwelling, while watching the "ugly western guy" from their 3rd story wall-hole, and trying to live out the liberal fanatic life while hanging out at the tea shop. Sui plays the Oud and has some very funny songs she plays at the tea house like "I killed your pagan mother" and "Cut your throat". What a laff!

Really, these folks need to laugh a little bit, maybe even some of the game shows, or even translated cartoons for the kids. It seems a drag to keep your nose in the Koran and learning why American's are the devil incarnate all the time!

And the Number 1 thing Islamic Countries need: Liberals

Yes, we need to start exporting some liberalism over to these countries. Get them to stop with the "blowing themselves up" so they can get some from the 72 virgins already. Here, have a Playboy already! I think these folks are so sexually frustrated, they go absolutely insane and just want to get laid! Who better to show them the ways of the liberal world than... a liberal?! If we can get these fanatics to just loosen up a little bit, they may just have a chance! Let's face it they could use some fashion sense (the black full-body covering in the summer must be murder), the moral police with the whipping of women who are walking around without a man, women's driving and voting rights and maybe even a little touchy feely behind the minaret before noon prayers by the youngsters could be a good thing! Liberals would be seen more as "heathen" than actual enemies, and therefor would probably be more accepted and killed later than conservatives who may try to convert these folks to Christianity.

While I've taken a very tongue and cheek view at this top ten list - ultimately the point is these people need to lighten up for crying out loud. My prediction is they will ultimately take this too far, uniting the West against the Middle East. It's fine right now with all the rioting and burning taking place in relatively out of the way areas and countries. See what happens when London is nuked, or Paris burns for 6 months, Hamburg kidnappings and killings rise 500% or New York is bombed again. All I can say is these people will feel a huge hurt - I love it when the weaklings in the West get all scared about these riots. It's frankly very amusing to read and watch. Let's not forget that in a knock down and drag out fight - the only thing keeping these rioters alive is the moral fiber of the West and our sense of "civility". Were it the other way around and these radical islamists were in power and the Europeans and America were rioting under their rule - we'd be well on our way to being exterminated, making the holocaust look like a small barbacue. There's no doubt in my mind they would pay little mind. There's nothing for us to be scared of from these dirt dwelling, poopy handed and smelly people. Where it to come to another World War - it would be over before it started.

Missed Top 10 items:

- Fashion Sense
- Asphalt
- Non-dirt floors
- A New Religion
- Something other than Oil and heroin exports

Got more - post 'em up!

Sunday Cartoon

Cindy had much more than her fair 15 minutes and by using her son's name and his death, she's stretched it out for over a year. All that is about to crash around her ankles like a prom dress in the back of Daddy's Chevy. Part of me can't wait to see her cry her crocodile tears, another part wants her to suffer like her son would be suffering from her insane behavior since his death, and another part of me pity's her entire existence. She certainly would be better off jumping off a pier, but hey, she should know what's she's doing right?

I've composed my letter to Cindy in a thoughtful way - no name calling, no outrage. I think she certainly can turn herself around if she catches herself in time - I think the time she has left is short. She should start living her life for herself again and honor her sons memory and stop being a tool for fringe left politics. Any time you have Michael Moore on your side, it's time to pack it in and go home.

I certainly like A Western Heart's view of this. Political Yen/Yang has a different take on it, as does Liberal Republican and Conservative Democrat.

What most seem to agree on is that Cindy's about to explode and it's going to be all over the place, in a messy nasty gross vomitus sort of way. It's all too easy really. I've got my popcorn all ready. Screw sweeps week, this is gonna be good.

A letter to Cindy Sheehan

Dear Cindy,

For over a year now I've watched, read and listened to the media coverage you have been garnering with much interest. The latest of which has been your trip to Venezuela and your meeting with Hugo Chavez. The Democratic Party and your supporters have supported you and your cause since your sons unfortunate death fighting in the United States military.

This letter is probably letter number 1,000,000,000 or some such non-sense, and I'm sure you won't even read it personally, but it may sit and never be opened, or if I'm fortunate, it will be opened and read by one of your supporters who's job it is to do such a task.

The pictures of Hugo Chavez and you that were published in the media were very disturbing to say the least. You're wearing your sons picture around your neck at some demonstrations - yet your son is no longer the focus of your position. You claim to work to bring the U.S. military home from an illegal war where the soldiers have no voice of opposition - yet when asked, these troops do not share your view. I might point out neither did your son when he was alive.

I must point out that the actions you are taking only drag your son's memory in the mud of your far left views. You must understand that everything your son stood for and believed in is now overshadowed by your fanaticism. You're being used by the far left to further their own goals. You're hatred for Bush and the current Republican government as well as some of the Democratic representatives that currently serve in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives may or may not be founded yet your actions only further separate you from the people of America.

To be perfectly blunt, I do wish you much success in your future endeavors as it will further define your fringe position from the mainstream of America. While you will always have supporters and believers in your constant rhetoric and accusations and there will always be more targets of your supposed outrage and ire, many American's see you for what you are: A pawn. You're son no longer matters no matter what your crying face may show and what your words may be in the rally's and protests you attend as a speaker. Your success will ultimately identify your lack of common sense and socialistic views. I truly do feel sorry for your loss, yet your outlet of blame and playing the victim of your sons death is unforgivable. You've lost your marriage, your family support, your son and you fill it with people who say they care for you but do not. You're life has become a circus and the public are the patrons in the stands watching and eating popcorn.

Honor your son, honor his memory and stop erasing him from America's memory by your constant protests - by not doing so you further your own selfish goals and serve only yourself. At the very least stop carrying your sons picture like a badge of truth - he has and had nothing to do with who and what you are now. You push his picture in front of you for the cameras like a shield - a testament to your actions. Can you look yourself in the mirror and say you are really doing this for him? Isn't it all about you and the campaign against what you believe are "criminals" in the White House? I urge you to soul search again and re-evaluate your current path before you are made out as a mockery and slowly fade into obscurity. Don't be the butt of comedian jokes and don't let that happen to your son's memory.

I will leave you with the words of your own family:

Being a jackass is an emotional thing

A Sheehan Family letter to Cindy August 2005:

"The Sheehan Family lost our beloved Casey in the Iraq War and we have been silently, respectfully grieving. We do not agree with the political motivations and publicity tactics of Cindy Sheehan. She now appears to be promoting her own personal agenda and notoriety at the the expense of her son's good name and reputation. The rest of the Sheehan Family supports the troops, our country, and our President, silently, with prayer and respect.

Sincerely,

Casey Sheehan's grandparents, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins."

Where am I politically

I've done my share of on-line political tests - I really like this one. Nothing has been heard from the group and they have made no new demands. However, UPI wrote a piece (I won't say of what) which can be found at this link

Something interesting is the inference (no proof mind you) that the U.S. troops, while looking for terrorists and insurgents, commonly take women from these homes, jail them and abuse them, in hopes to flush out the insurgent men. The Bush haters would believe that in a New York second and nod like a Mets bobble-head in July. I digress...

Thomas Houlahan from UPI states:

" If Jill Carroll is still alive, her captors would do well to assess the situation objectively.

Obviously, killing this reporter -- especially this reporter -- would make no sense from the standpoint of either principle or practicality."

Since when have terrorists assessed killing innocent people objectively? Terrorists make sense? They're PRACTICAL?? In what friggin' way? I guess if you count that they calmly assess how to slit a throat, or practically think about the angle at which they will hold the gun and blow the brains out of another person - I guess Tommy-Boy is correct...

"Right now, the Revenge Brigade, or the Vengeance Brigade, has made its point. Let's face it, the world knows a lot more about the treatment of suspected insurgents, especially female insurgents, than it did last month."

Now we're learning a valuable lesson from the Vengeance Brigade apparently. Terrorists have taught us a very good moral it seems. See, us dumb Westerners obviously know NOTHING about female prisoners (it's because the West apparently doesn't have females you see) prior to them abducting Jill Carroll. Shall we send them a thank you card with some candy maybe? Maybe Tom Houlahan will invite some of them over to a family barbacue and have a good conversation of some grilled peppers and hummus on the value of disembowling innocent people on video tape, and how it teaches the world a lesson.

"If Jill Carroll is killed, it goes without saying that they will lose any hope of ever gaining sympathy for their cause from Americans. They will also be denounced by Muslims worldwide for killing an innocent woman. In short, they will have handed their enemies a huge propaganda victory."

What kind of masochistic garbage is this? They wish to gain sympathy for their cause by killing a defenseless girl. They will be denounced by Muslims for killing an innocent woman - I don't think that's the case at all. The Muslim world didn't denounce anyone when 3000+ innocent women and men were killed on 9/11. As a matter of fact, Muslims around the world danced in the streets, children were given sweets and adults laughed and drank tea while happily grinning about the mass killing.

Actual pictures of Palestinian children during 9/11 attacks

Palestinian woman recieves free sweets and praises Allah during 9/11 attacks

See the difference between the Middle East and the United States?

Really? Muslims will denounce it? And is that all they will be handing over to their enemies - is a propaganda victory? I guess one life in the world really doesn't matter anymore, especially to Thomas Houlahan - she's not a thinking breathing soul who feels and loves and has emotions - no no. She's a "propaganda victory". I'm sure if Jill is still alive and one can only hope one day reads Tom's little turd of an op-ed piece here, she'll thank him for NOT just being a propaganda pawn, but an actual person.

I wish that I could celebrate the death of thousands of Palestinians and laugh, eat and do the jig while their people die horrible deaths - but I can't because my belief isn't to celebrate the death of anyone. These are the people we're fighting. These are the people who hate in the name of Allah. My anger on this blog would jeopardize my soul, so I will stop right here with more on these pictures.

On a suprising note, the Muslim News out of the UK has a piece on Jill Carroll that's much better written and has a much more insightful view of Jill as actually being a flesh and blood person and not just a political pawn. I would urge anyone interested to read this article - it's good.

The Muslim News: Jill Carroll and Arab hypocrisy

Friday Cartoon(s)

When I pimp myself out and start trying to be like the "big blogs" with tons of content, please, put a .45 to my head and squeeze the trigger? My little blog here won't ever threaten RWN, or KoS of Malkin and you know what - no one really cares. I don't really care much about the RWN either - they have some good posts once in a while but I don't click on their stupid advertisements, I rarely post a comment and I really don't give a squat about getting big in the blogsphere. I don't want mail, (or hate mail) I don't like over the top comments dripping with rhetoric - patooie! Here's a tip for RWN: Get out of the house and do something with your life, loosers. Turn off the monitor and step away from the computer - stop wanking off, get a girlfriend or a second job for crying out loud. Like sucessful blogging is some "superior task"...I'll post what I want, when I want, and as much or little as I want Mr. John Hawkins (whoever the hell you are. What a pompus ass!). I blog for myself - if other people want to read it great - if not, just as great. Geeze, now I have to get lectured about why I suck... nice.

Sucessful bloggers on a rare day out

***UPDATE****

RWN has updated their post with the following:

"*** Update #1 *** Just to clear something up.

A few bloggers in the comments section seemed to be a bit offended by this piece, mainly because they say their goal really isn't to get traffic. Well, they shouldn't be offended, because this is a post aimed at the vast majority of bloggers who want to build an audience. If you're one of the rare breed of bloggers who couldn't care less whether 5 or 5000 people read your blog, then don't sweat it, because this piece isn't meant for you. If you enjoy blogging for therapeutic reasons, to pass the time, for a close circle of friends, etc, etc, have a good time and feel free to completely ignore this post."

This self-effacing blogger wishes to thank RWN for the update. No hard feelings.
Read more at www.rightwingnews.com/a...

Chris Penn: About Karma

[Tags: Chris Penn, Obit, Hollywood, Actor, Dead,
Dead]

Good Karma:

Would have been that Sean Penn would have kicked off instead of brother Chris Penn. So I endure some comercials for the interest in hearing if Dean will say something interesting and poignant or something stupid.

While the interview was going on, I had to admit, his words were doing what they were supposed to - tow the party line. He carefully skirted the question about Hillary's use of "Plantation" with the House of Representatives by saying Newt Gingrich said it first (though admittedly, not on MLK day... in Harlem... in a Black Church... on Camera) then made sure he mentioned how if the Dem's got back into power how everyone and everything would be much better. He then mentioned that the Democrats were very strong on Security and Border Control, as well as a national Health Care system (i.e. Social medicine), the War on Terror etc... basically he stole the cheat sheet from Karl Rove and put the left spin on it. He again carefully skirted the poll that showed a majority of the people who were polled and voted would NOT vote for Hillary for President, which he quipped Hillary was more worried about her Senate seat in NY than the Presidency. Then it happened. Dean outright lied.

Jack Nicholson's got nothing on you Howie

It's relatively easy to read Dean's face... he's like an intense horse. Lips quiverying, nervous ticks, droning voice. It's unmistakable. Just looking at him right as he's formulating the outburst to come, anticipating, urgent look on his face, cheeks getting read, eyes widening. I was so flippin' glad he didn't win the Democratic primary in 2004. This guy would have been a disaster of proportions unknown in modern political history. Firstly, I would doubt he'd make it through his first term let alone get in for a second. I can say, Thank God Kerry won the primary and Dean let out that awful "yeaaaaaahhhhhh!" that sunk him quicker than a sponge.

Dean said no Democrat took "one cent from Abrahmoff... not one cent" was the quote, and you know, technically he right. While Abrahmoff didn't directly give the Democrats the money, it went through a third party or into a PAC or other funding organization before it got to the Democrats in question. So, technically Dean is correct - Abrahmoff didn't physically hand them the money in a small manilla envelope while wearing a fedora and trench coat -- however, the source was Abrahmoff.

Using that logic - a TV I buy on 73rd and Lexington off the back of a panel truck from a guy named Mickey, isn't REALLY recieving stolen goods because Mickey didn't steal it... his BROTHER Joey stole it, so ipso-facto, I'm innocent and should be free as a boid. Were it only that simple.

Howz I suppost to know TV's don't cost $10?

Yet, Democrats, Blogs, even the politically savvy little dudette at work tows that mantra - NO DEMOCRAT TOOK ONE CENT FROM ABRAHMOFF! Suddenly everyone's an expert in the law right? Nah, nothing that dramatic - they are just parroting what they hear like a good doobie. The truth is much harder to face, and the true blue Democrats won't give an inch and cannot even admit their shoes are untied if the Republicans can say anything about it. How truly insane. Did Bush divide the country? No, though he was blamed for it. As a matter of fact, Bush is akin to Santa Claus in this country. He's everywhere, all the time, doing bad things every hour of the day, every week of every year since 2000. He knows everything (like that the hijackers of the planes that hit the WTC on 9/11 weren't after him at the Florida grade school). He knew it... dunno how but he did. He knew before he took office that he was going to invade Iraq - he knew that the U.N. and all the Senators and Representatives would back him - he knew how to manipulate documents, secret information, even intelligence from OTHER COUNTRIES. He had an elaborate scheme to pay off informants in Austrialia and England about the infamous Niger "Yellow Cake". He very schrewdly put together Iraq with the terrorists. During the re-election he had a square box on his back where supposedly he was getting direction on what to do during the debates.

Then we understand that it's Cheney, Rumsfeld and Kove who are actually running the White House. Bush is just a pawn for the real evil - which is running this country into Iraq to get the oil, to richen themselves on Halliburton stock, to get kickbacks from defense contractors. To right the wrong that Saddam did to Daddy!

Those believers are very interesting in their contradictions. Bush is stupid - but he's blamed for everything. Cheney and Kove are pulling Bush's strings - yet all indications are Bush makes his own decisions.

So what's the alternative... all I can say is still... thank God it wasn't Dean.

Chavez ruse outed?

[Tags: Chavez, Columbia, dictator, Qaddafi, kidnapping,
politician]

Gateway Pundit has an interesting take on the plee for Chavez to help free Columbian politicans from their Marxist rebel kidnappers.
